Call me a cynic, but I think the opportunity deniers are out to enslave you. And they learned long ago that you don’t enslave modern man with chains. That’s old school tyranny. No, the modern way of enslaving man is to limit his imagination.
C: Don’t let the title scare you away, this is an excellent read that shows that opportunity is often staring us in the face - we just have to reach out and grab it. I recommend paring this with the excellent book The Magic of Thinking Big.
Facts don’t matter as much as emotion does. Stirring up strong passionate emotions like anger, fear, outrage, and on the more positive side, love, inspiration, and hope will often trump facts, logic and math.
C: We touched on this topic when we talked about the snowball method of paying debt in issue 1 of this digest. Andrew shares his thoughts on the topic by providing a good example where logic is trumped by emotions.

C: This one might hit some nerves, but I wholeheartly agree with Brandon’s core message in this article. Depending on what your goals are, you may need to reassess your strategy if you’re into real estate investing.
